Lester Magoogan
  When Art Becomes Inspiration
December 2007: At age 25, Lester Magoogan is a young man with a unique perspective on life. Lester is disabled with Downs Syndrome and sees the world in a different way. The world and people around him are captured in his simple but evocative line drawings, which bring a smile to the face of all who see them. Lester works with his father Wesley on animations and has produced in excess of 20,000 drawings of which about 3% are of 'Tate Modern' exhibition standard.

Sam Morrison
  Traditional Animation Made Digital
December 2007: Sam Morrison graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1997 and the following year began making a short for Channel 4 called Emma 18. This proved popular enough to merit a sequel - Donkey Town, which won best short at Melbourne International Film Festival. September 2007: Both Ethan Long and Tom LaBaff graduated from the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida in 1991. Since then, Ethan and Tom's careers took a very creative path that led Ethan to children's books, illustrating and writing for many major publishers, and led Tom to animation production servicing the advertising, television, gaming and motion pictures industries. They partnered to create three 15-second station identities for Viacom, which are airing on Spike TV.

Dale Newton

August 2007: Dale Newton, a CG animator and designer at Framestore-CFC, used Toon Boom Studio for the first time to create the Neon Girl commercial. Using mostly 3D applications to achieve the look he wants, Dale relied on Studio to create the drawings. "Because Toon Boom Studio allowed us to continue drawing and work with clean lines in a simple animation environment we were able to retain creative control in what would have been otherwise a technically heavy project", shared Dale.
